The Role
Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for Head Of Digital Strategy who will responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for Oxfam’s digital strategy for public engagement, policy and campaigns and should achieve agreed objectives for mobilization, fundraising and impact at global and national level. The post holder will achieve this through close working relationships with OI global campaigns and public engagement staff, senior staff from Oxfam affiliates and at national level in priority countries.

The person
Are you a dynamic, strategic and inspiring leader? Can you inspire action from colleagues around the world to work towards a common vision? Have you run great digital campaigns that have achieved real impact for people? Have you developed digital mobilisation in a wide variety of countries across the world? Are you passionate about using digital tools to empower people to take control of their futures? If so, you are the person we’re looking for. We need someone who can be diplomatic and sensitive as well as a strong motivator and leader to inspire people around the world to work together to deliver outstanding digital strategy. You need to have excellent knowledge of digital technologies and techniques and their potential application for Oxfam’s work, as well as superb knowledge of digital media and its potential for engaging publics to directly influence decision makers. You also must have the ability and skills to work with your team to support colleagues, partners and community activists with digital capacity skills and training that they need to achieve the greatest impact possible.
Fluency in English required and competence in French and/or Spanish is desirable.
