The Role
Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for a Head of International HR Operations who will be responsible for providing support to OI People and Culture Director, acting as a strategic leader for the international HR Operations, responsible for high quality, accurate & consistent services across countries and regions. Lead on the ongoing design of the structure of HR Operations, including appropriate level of resources, skills, capability and ensuring future proofing for key transformation work (such as the Transforming Business Support program). Operate as a strategic leader of the Regional Human Resource Business Partner (RHRBP) network and core member of Oxfam Executing Affiliate (EA) HR Directors Group to play a key role in translating Oxfam’s People strategy into HR Operational excellence.

Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a candidate with bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management or related field with substantial knowledge and experience of general human resource management working within an international organization. Extensive working knowledge and experience of (region and countries) labour law and its application. The selected candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and is able to work as part of a dispersed, multi-disciplined, multi-cultural team. We are looking for a candidate who will show commitment to Oxfam’s overall aims and policies with experience of promoting gender equity and diversity and the interests of marginalized people in all aspects of Oxfam’s work. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in plain Language. Fluency in English required and competence in French and/or Spanish is desirable.
